Monthly Discussion meeting – we are meeting at the Huntsville Public Library on Monroe Street in Huntsville, in room A/B (to the right of the lobby).
We begin with introductions and announcements, reading, an update on our participation with Alabama Arise, then our topic. See Facebook and Meetup for updates to topic information. The discussion is from 2:00 to 3:15 pm.
Update on Business Meeting from 3:20 to 3:30: Updates on becoming a formal organization.
Heads up: November’s meeting will be Nov. 18th at the Bailey Cove Library, 1409 Weatherly Cove Plaza SE, Huntsville, 35803. There will be no December meeting.

Philosophy Café. Open discussion on philosophical topics continues on the fourth Monday of each month. This month we are meeting at KEEGAN’S OF HUNTSVILLE, 200 West Side Square, Suite 60, Huntsville, AL 35801. An assortment of salads, sandwiches, Irish inspired fare, and beverages are available for purchase (and to lubricate discussion). http://www.keeganshuntsville.com/ New faces are always welcome.

Non-Fiction Readers Book Discussion Group. No meeting in November! Usually meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month. New discussion participants always welcomed! Please join us at the Huntsville Public Library on Monroe Street in Huntsville, room A/B (to the right of the lobby). The December meeting is a discussion of whatever you are reading, including fiction.
Thursday, November 1 at 6 pm: From Alabama Arise
Free Legislative Advocacy Training in Huntsville
Arise members believe that a better future for our state begins with everyday Alabamians joining together to speak up for change. That’s why Arise will host a legislative advocacy training on Thursday, November 1st.
The training will educate participants about key issues facing Alabama and offer practical advice on how to communicate more effectively with elected officials.
Please join us for the legislative training on Thursday, November 1st at 6:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville (3921 Broadmor Road NW).
