Sunday April 14: 2:00-4:00 pm:

Non-Fiction Readers Book Discussion Group. Usually meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month. This meeting is focused on books, magazine articles, podcasts, and other published information of interest to Humanists. New discussion participants always welcomed!  Please join us at the Huntsville Public Library on Monroe Street in Huntsville, room A/B (to the right of the lobby).

Sunday, March 17: 2:00-3:30 pm:

Monthly Discussion meetingMeeting this month is on the second floor of the library in the Foundation Conference Room.

We begin with introductions and announcements, reading, then discussion from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. This meeting is for serious discussion – what humanist idea is on your mind? What topic do you want scheduled for future meetings? (Looking for leadership for the discussion meeting).

Monday, March 25: 6:00-7:30pm:

Philosophy Café. Open and relaxed discussion on philosophical topics continues on the fourth Monday of each month. We are meeting at KEEGAN’S OF HUNTSVILLE, 200 West Side Square, Suite 60, Huntsville, AL 35801. An assortment of salads, sandwiches, Irish inspired fare, and beverages are available for purchase (and to lubricate discussion). http://www.keeganshuntsville.com/ New faces are always welcome. (PS – Happy Hour ends at 6 – you might want to arrive a few minutes early.)

There are two local Meetups devoted to learning about and practicing specific philosophies. One is the Epicurean Friends of Huntsville, and the other is the Stoic Fellowship of Huntsville. Meetup membership is required to get information.
