At the January meeting, Stan Brockway proposed that our chapter become a supporting organization of Alabama Arise. Alabama Arise advocates for the needs of the poor and under-represented people in Alabama, such as health care, education, and criminal justice. The group approved and named Stan as our representative!
Social Justice Events: Feb 7, 7:00 8:30 pm. At the Huntsville Madison County Public Library: the Tennessee Valley Progressive Alliance and Alabama Youth Justice Coalition present a community Forum on Youth Justice Reform.
