Sunday, June 10: 2:00- 4:00 pm:

Non-Fiction Readers Book Discussion Group, meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month. New discussion participants always welcomed!  Please join us at the Huntsville Public Library on Monroe Street in Huntsville, room A/B (to the right of the lobby). This month is an open discussion on what everyone is reading and recommending

Sunday, May 20: 2:00-3:30 pm:

Monthly meeting – we are meeting at the Huntsville Public Library on Monroe Street in Huntsville, in room C (on the second floor, on the far wall from the elevator). The AHA’s 77th Annual Conference is taking place this week —  May 17 through May 20. Details are at   Also on the national Web site is “Humanist Common Ground,” a new series of eleven pamphlets showing that common ground with humanism is possible with some members of other religions, from Muslim to Unitarian Universalism. Louise and Travis will bring all eleven to hand out to attendees at the June meeting. Also see online versions at .  If you want we can begin to talk about “Common ground” in May from the online versions. Or you may prefer another topic. What do you think is important to discuss?


Monday, May 28: 6:00-7:30pm:

Philosophy Café. Open discussion on philosophical topics continues on the fourth Monday of each month. This month we are meeting at “Sam & Gregs” at 119 Northside Square. An assortment of pizzas, gelato, and beverages are available for purchase (and to lubricate discussion).  New faces are always welcome!
